“I felt my lungs inflate with the onrush of scenery—air, mountains, trees, people. I thought, "This is what it is to be happy.”

Well, that definitely defines what I felt when I reached the summit of Pulag, Luzon's highest, also known as the "abode of the gods." Trek started at 3 am on that, unbelievably, cold dawn and finally, we were there when the sun was about to rise. Such beauty I could never ever forget.
